The JBL Studio LC2 is a 4-way, dual 6" center channel speaker that is also wall-mountable. The LC2 utilizes materials and technologies that extend its sonic performance well beyond the industry standard of 20,000Hz. The 6" PolyPlas drivers feature HeatScape motor structures, Symmetrical Field Geometry, and oversized Kapton voice coils for accurate, punchy lows. Higher frequencies benefit from the 3/4" Mylar ultrahigh driver and a 1" pure titanium tweeter in a JBL waveguide enclosure that ensures a wider soundstage. A rounded, low-diffraction IsoPower baffle reduces unwanted resonances, and heavily braced MDF construction minimizes internal vibration, so you'll never miss a word of dialogue. The LC2 is available with an attractive Black Ash, Beech, or Cherry finish.

Mylar® Ultrahigh-Frequency Driver
The JBL Studio LC2 center channel speaker takes sound into the high-definition world by incorporating an ultrahigh-frequency driver capable of reproducing frequencies out past 40kHz. Why is this important? That’s the realm of high-definition audio and the frequency response of today’s high-resolution sources such as Blu-ray Disc.™ Made of Mylar®, the LC2’s UHF driver is loaded into a patented JBL Bi-Radial® horn so that high frequencies have a wide and uniform dispersion, which means smooth high-frequency sound over a large listening area. And that means the LC2 will deliver a more-realistic sound experience.

Straight-Line Signal Path Networks
The most-direct path for producing the cleanest, most-accurate sound possible is a straight line. JBL, Inc., uses Straight-Line Signal Path™ networks in the LC2 to ensure that the signal from the 5-way binding posts, all the way through to the transducers, is the most-direct signal path possible. Add heavy-duty bypass capacitors and an unheard of 4-way design, and the result is a clear, accurate signal, no matter what the volume. So turn it up. 1-Inch Pure-Titanium Tweeter
When it comes to accurately reproducing all of the dialogue from your favorite movie, or the vocals from your favorite song, the LC2 uses technology straight from the recording studio. The JBL LC2 features a 1-inch pure-titanium-dome tweeter; titanium’s strength and light weight make it perfect for quickly and accurately reproducing high frequencies without strain or distortion. Titanium is the material of choice for many JBL professional music monitors, and the LC2 is based on our professional models. And a patented JBL EOS waveguide ensures that high frequencies will have a wide and uniform dispersion, which results in smooth high-frequency sound over a large listening area.
